Introducing Dr. Kyle Nichols to Modern Eye

Modern Eye is delighted to welcome Dr. Kyle Nichols back to our team of eye care professionals. After first joining us as an intern during optometry school, Dr. Nichols returns with extensive experience and a patient-centered approach that perfectly matches our values.

Originally from Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, Dr. Nichols brings strong academic credentials and practical expertise to Modern Eye. He completed his Bachelor of Arts in Health Sciences with a minor in Chemistry at Gettysburg College before earning his Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University.

His professional experience includes rotations at leading institutions across the country. Time spent at the VA of Charleston, The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, and a specialized private practice outside Denver has shaped his comprehensive approach to eye care. Dr. Nichols specializes in contact lens fitting, ocular disease management, and low vision care – essential services for maintaining eye health.

Outside the office, Dr. Nichols maintains an active lifestyle that reflects his Pennsylvania roots. He enjoys skiing, hiking trails, and fly fishing when time allows. At home, you might find him adding to his vinyl record collection or spending time with his cat Ruff, whom he adopted from Philadelphia PAWS.

You can schedule appointments with Dr. Nichols at our University City location on Mondays, and at our Center City practice on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. His commitment to thorough, individualized eye care makes him a valuable addition to our team.
